Adela Hathaway
Chairperson
Adela Hathaway, a licensed mental health counselor and national certified counselor at Congruity Counseling in Winter Park, FL, specializes in individualized treatment plans with measurable goals. With previous experience at The Center for Drug-Free Living and as an adjunct professor of psychology at Valencia College, Adela holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health from Troy University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida. Her expertise includes specialized training in areas such as Prepare/Enrich, Collaborative Law, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy.
A.J. Stanton

A.J. Stanton, III, a partner at Gasdick Stanton Early since 1996, heads the firm’s litigation division, specializing in business litigation, real estate, appellate, probate, and business transactions. A graduate of Nova University in 1993 with a Juris Doctor, A.J.’s family has a long history in Orlando, dating back to 1942. He met his wife, Michelle, at the University of Florida, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. A dedicated community member, A.J. served on the Delany Park Little League board for 10 years and has been a board member of the Victim Service Center since 2018, currently serving as Chairperson since 2021.
Isabelle Owens
Secretary
Isabelle Owens brings a successful history of digital marketing campaigns and communication strategies to her role as the Vice President of Global Communications and Marketing at Owens Realty. Starting her career in Manhattan, she honed her skills in a $60 billion corporation specializing in luxury goods. Isabelle holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Fordham University, possesses real estate licenses in New York, Florida, and Connecticut, and actively serves on the boards of AdventHealth’s Champion for the Children and the Victim Service Center Young Professionals.
Josh Kolbert
Treasurer
Josh is an experienced auditor at Rehmann where he performs audits, reviews, and compilations with a focus on middle-market ($10M-$1B revenue/assets) commercial clients in the greater Orlando area. His goal is to provide assurance and advisory services with an unmatched client relationship. Josh is instrumental in firm outreach for UCF and is passionate about community involvement and the performing arts.

Debbie Van Gaale

Debbie, a Financial Advisor at Synergy Wealth Alliance, leverages her 23 years of experience as a former Marketing Agency owner to guide clients in aligning personal values with financial plans. Passionate about educating clients, she empowers them to understand and actively participate in their financial strategies. Originally from GA and a University of Utah alumna, Debbie, married for 29 years with two children, finds balance in family life and personal interests, including hiking the Appalachian Trail where she logged 180 miles and encountered two bears.
Allen Johnson
Board Member
Since September 2004, Allen Johnson has been the Chief Venues Officer for the City of Orlando’s Venues Department, overseeing prominent locations like the Amway Center and Camping World Stadium. With a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Central Florida, he holds certifications as a Certified Venue Executive (CVE) and Certified Public Manager (CPM). Involved in various professional associations and community boards, Allen has received accolades for his contributions to venue excellence, including the reconstruction of Camping World Stadium. He is married to Suzi and has two daughters, Savanna and Haley Shea.
Christina Miner
Board Member
Christina M. Miner, a licensed attorney and Senior Wealth Strategist at PNC Private Bank, transitioned from a career in criminal justice to become an attorney in the child dependency system. With a Juris Doctor from FAMU College of Law, she later specialized in estate planning and probate at a law firm in Orlando. Christina, a resident of Winter Springs, FL, holds degrees in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida and remains active in the community as a Guardian ad Litem in Orange County.
Craig Swygert
Board Member
Craig is the Branch President of Clear Channel Outdoor in Central Florida, with over 27 years in the outdoor advertising industry. Starting as a Graphic Designer, he rose through the ranks, currently leading the Central Florida Markets. Craig is a certified corporate sales trainer, recognized for his contributions, and actively serves on various boards, including his role as President of The University Club of Orlando. In 2014, he received the “Father of the Year” award from the American Diabetes Association. Craig, married for 26 years to Judy, is proud of his family, including daughters Shelby and Avery.
Corey Snider
Board Member
Corey Snider is from Fort Wayne, Indiana, and currently resides in Central Florida with his wife Melanie, after relocating in the fall of 2023. A proud graduate of Indiana University, Corey holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration. When he’s not immersed in his professional pursuits, Corey enjoys watching sports and spending quality time at the lake or the beach, embracing his love for the outdoors. Currently, Corey is assistant vice president of Orlando Health and chief operating officer of Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies.
Michael Mulhall

Michael is the Managing Director for DR Horton Multifamily in Florida, overseeing development and construction of new multifamily and mixed-use projects. With over 25 years of experience, he has led numerous successful ventures, including the development of over 20,000 apartment units and four hotels. His notable achievement includes Mirasol at Celebration, which won 12 national awards. Michael holds a BA in Urban Development from Virginia Tech and is actively involved in industry associations. He serves on various boards, including the City of Orlando ARB Advisory Board and the Thornton Park District. Michael resides in downtown Orlando with his family.
Kendra Presley-Van Houten

Kendra Presley-Van Houten, with over 26 years of experience in community engagement, is the Director of Community and Student Engagement at AdventHealth University. She has a strong background in strategic planning, community relations, and project management, holding degrees from the University of Kentucky and AdventHealth University. Kendra actively leads multiple university committees, focusing on strategic planning, accreditation, policies and procedures, and standardization. She also chairs AHU’s Community Engagement and Student Advancement committees, demonstrating her commitment to fostering community connections and student success.
Paul Rooney
Board Member
Paul Rooney is the Assistant Vice President of Campus and Security Services at Valencia College, overseeing four departments and serving 70,000 students across 8 campuses. Previously, he spent 28 years with the Orlando Police Department, including as Chief of Police managing a $116 million budget and 1,000 employees. He has extensive experience in various leadership roles within law enforcement and holds degrees in Criminal Justice and Public Administration. Active in professional associations, Paul is also committed to community involvement. Outside of work, he cherishes time with his family, fitness, and beach outings.
Traci Smith

Traci Smith is the Director of Treasury Sales and Strategic Partnerships at Cogent Bank. She has over 20 years of Commercial Banking experience with a specialty in Treasury Management. She started her banking career at First Union/Wachovia in 1997 and spent most of her banking career at CNLBank leading the Treasury Sales Team. Traci joined Cogent Bank in 2018 as a Commercial Relationship Manager and now oversees the state of Florida supporting Cogent Banks large commercial clients and partner/vendor integrations.
Traci has a BA in Psychology from the University of Central Florida and currently serves as on the board for Victim Service Center, serves on the board and secretary for Kick off for Kicks and is one of the founding board members of ATHENA Women’s Leadership of CFL. She lives in Orlando Florida with her 2 children, Morgan and Aden.
Major Mary Santana
Board Member
Captain Santana began her law enforcement career at the Apopka Police Department in 1998 and has been with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office since 2001. Her diverse assignments have included roles in the Uniform Patrol Division, Support Services Division, Special Operations Division, Court Security Division, Office of the Undersheriff, and the Office of the Sheriff. Currently assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division, she leads various units, including Sex Crimes, Domestic Violence, Child Abuse, Missing Persons, Digital Forensics, Forensics, Crime Analysis, and the Evidence unit. Captain Santana holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Marist College and a Master of Arts in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix.

The Victim Service Center’s Young Professionals Committee was designed to connect civically minded individuals in Central Florida to spread awareness and network among peers. The Committee seeks active and philanthropic members of our community while fostering the development of potential future Victim Service Center leaders. From time to time we host social networking activities to introduce our membership community to other like-minded peers while spreading awareness and fundraising for the Victim Service Center. There are additional opportunities to join subcommittees to support the objectives, events, and fundraising of the Victim Service Center. We are a group of philanthropic leaders at the forefront of our career development, looking to align professionally and through volunteering.
